Looks good
Is that a compressed air line feeding  it for testing only?  Where/how does steam get produced.   Separate boiler of some sort

UB, it is great to see you back again and it is also good to know that things are improving for you.  Welcome back!

Thanks very much. I am glad to be checking in more frequently here. I am doing much better. I slogged through a lot for a few years to make it back to what I am today. I am not near the man I was before my issues, but I am back to a semi functional level, but not nearly as strong as I was before 2019.

The Excalibur saws are pretty decent and very similar to the Pegas but do suffer from a few drawbacks. From what I understand, the Pegas is an upgraded design based on the Excalibur. The Pegas uses needle bearings in locations where the Excalibur uses simple bushings. The blade holders are also of an improved design over its predecessor.

If I stumbled on an Excalibur in new condition for a low price I would buy it and upgrade the blade holders to the Pegas type, which are available to fit. For the difference in price I could purchase a lot of bushings!

Finished up a project my wife got for me.   The PM Research 4C engine.   Had to redo some parts as I was going.  Runs nice
Not sure how to put the Video on here but here is the link

The missus asked if She could have some peace and quiet while She cooked dinner.

So I took the batteries out of the smoke alarms.

I'll also note, the plumber was flabbergasted, asked the client no less than 5 times if he was sure about copper, and had young guys on his crew who had never sweat copper before... That last part was a bit nutty... But I held my tongue.

We had a client who INSISTED the plumber use all copper on a whole house gut we did. The cost was almost 20x what PEX was. Legit...

However, this was also during the height of the pandemic material shortages. The wholesalers were only selling limited quantity of materials to plumbers and electricians.
