Home built tool box

Built two of these a year or so ago. Honduran mahogany I've had for about 35 years.

Beautiful craftsmanship. And fabulous wood, I used a bunch on my last sailboat. So much better than the builders mahogany trim stuff.

Some very very  nice woodwork there, totally out of my league.My grandad was a wheelwright and cabinet maker but unfortunately his woodworking skills never passed down to me.

Once again thanks guys.
Theres something about the warmth of wood. The chest looks totally out of place in my always cluttered shop. Have had people comment that it just doesn't belong there. lol But it just feels good opening a drawer and pulling out a piece of equipment that should be pampered.

Those are beautiful boxes. No way do I have the skills or patience to make something like that.
