While this is a machinist/metalworking site every so often even a metal worker/machinist has to use a wood working machine. This little board is here for those discussions that should be few. Anything related to wood working equipment here.

Mics/Dial Calipers/ Layout Tools/ and the things generally found in your machinists tool box. NOTE: Not mechanics tools, only machinist tools and measuring instruments and setup stuff.

Discuss things that go BOOM, or are sharp here. Not politically, but specifically working on weaponry of any description.

Make a thread to specifically discuss your shop. Not so much projects as there is a place for projects, primarily discuss your shop it's contents etc.

Anything related to your machines, tools and shop. Not for pictures of your vacation, pets etc.

Discuss anything related to building your shop, adding onto your shop, improving the wiring/lighting/plumbing/ etc of your shop. This is a discussion of the structure itself, not it's contents. Can include things like clearing the site, foundation etc.

For individuals, not businesses. Here is your Swap-N-Shop board. Site management has absolutely zero to do with any transactions conducted here. You are totally on your own. Hopefully you folks will all treat each other right here.

Hopefully, this board will be temporary. There are a few guys here that are not Machinist type guys and are mainly here because the replacement Garage Gazette site is not yet up. My thoughts are if you are one of those guys and you want to discuss all the normal wrench bender stuff we used to discuss at TGG we can just discuss all of that stuff here for the time being. Once the new site is online I will probably end up deleting this section as it is unrelated to Machinist activities. So stuff like a long project thread would not be a good idea for this little board here. I hope you refugees like this idea.
