That's a lot of neat stuff. Too bad I don't live close.

Some of the old cars are really cool for restoration, or modernization.

Holy moly, that's a lot of stuff!  I'll be going right through there tomorrow morning, but won't be anywhere nearby on auction day. Too bad, too!

I was going to mention that Springfield lathe looks like a nice restoration project until there was a repeat photo later in the collection showing that the lathe is quite a bit bigger than I previously noticed. 😳

Did you notice the size of the other lathe bed. The American... something or other on Page 4 bottom left.

The Cincinnati that was outside?
Or was it a Cincinnati? The American tool company, Cincinnati?

Yes, it was huge! Likely larger than my entire garage.
Shame it's outside.......

IT IS  a shame, but I watched The Backyard Machine Shop on you tube restore a couple of machines pulled out of the muck with trees growing thru them and he fully restored them. 3 machines if I remember.

That would be amazing if I had the space and time... I'm trying to rescrape my lathe and in a month I'm not even done the compound yet...
