It's been rain three days, dry two, rain four days, dry two all spring and summer. Been bush hogging everything grass is growing so fast the finish mower just clogs up.

I have lived in Northern California all my life. When I was younger (barely remember LOL) we did not have all these crazy fires. Maybe a few random down in Southern Ca. So what has changed in the last few decades to make N. CA. so flammable and hard to put out????

I gave up listening to the weatherman. Saturday was supposed to be sunny and 93 degrees here in central Illinois, ended up being cloudy with high of 83, twisters, downdraft wind shears, and 2.5" of rain in about 2.5 hours. River shot up over 8 feet.

Wow. What we wouldn't give for some rain here right now. It has been drier here, but not since the 1980's. Forecast calls for thundershowers today, so hopefully some good will come of it.

We had a severe storm dump on us last night.   Tornado warning sirens.   One went right past our town and took out several homes in the suburbs just east of us.   One of my friends house was one block over from the destruction.    Very close call.   Before that but we were definitely dry and in need of some moisture.
I was in CA hr east of LA all weekend at the BarZ bash and it was pretty darn hot and dry there.   Made you thirsty just looking at the desert like conditions.   Not too crazy but 95F or so.   They said it was in the 100s the week before.    They are in record drought conditions as well.
