Yes. I have asked it some fairly specific questions regarding the Fanuc 6T operating system for the lathe and it had answers.

I always forget to take photos of stuff. I'm always so busy it just doesn't cross my mind.

But here's some fixture junk I rushed out.
No idea what it's for. Just a fixture assembly for someone else to make more expensive parts than I make.

Nice work Shawn!
There's always a need for fixturing on production machines out there.

We do a lot of it.
It's kind of annoying stuff tho. One of everything.

Yep, one of everything. I miss some of that, too, myself.

This was probably one of the most challenging pieces I've worked on. Every bit of it fought me.
304 stainless.

There are two bearing seats, both abutt against a shoulder in the ID. And had to be concentric and MMC to 0.001".
I had to make several tools for this, a bushing, and several set ups. A mix of CNC and manual.
I'm a bit ashamed to say it took about 16 hours. But this, and several other pieces will be ready for delivery for 10am.
New customer... Not terribly fun parts, but there's been lots of them so far. I have a bit of inside info, the customer is shopping around - Andrey made an appearance at the customers and recognised some of the local shop owners who were also submitting parts (ours are better...).
He anticipates they will make us very busy.
Which is fine, except I have a CNC machine down and I need money to hire a full time guy.
I have a student who comes in when he isn't in class and a guy working 25 hours a week, except it's only at night... I want someone here with me full time during the day. But, beggars can't be choosers.

The only thing to be ashamed of would be if you quoted less than 16 hours worth.

The part looks pretty nice from here.

That is a really nice piece.  Got to work on the chatter in the groove.  Not acceptable to some of us out there.

One of the several tools I had to "make" to get this done...
There's soo many grooves needed with this new customer, so many grooving tools I don't have...

And if you think the chatter *looks* bad, you shoulda heard it...
