Chinese drugs
« on: August 23, 2018, 08:29:44 PM »
Watched a show last nite a documentary, they were saying that 80% of prescription drugs in US are now coming from China. The FDA banned 70% of them due to foreign matter and not up to standards but had to lift the ban due to shortages.  Mostly hart and blood pressure medicine but others also and the doctors have no clue where there made, I wounder if the pharmacist know where they came from.

I had some blood pressure medicine recalled last month for "possible contaminants". Made in China. My doc changed the prescription and when I got the new stuff home saw that it is made in India.  ::)

Thanks for the heads up. Now I will be wondering every day when I take my meds. China also makes a huge amount of the fentanyl killing people here in the US.

Whats wrong with our country allowing this crap. The greedy pharma co still charge us big money while importing chi-com meds. Seems we're all hostages these days.

Remember when Canadian drug companies or drugs made here and shipped to Canada were not allowed back into the USA. mostly Pharama's working to keep Canadian drugs out of the USA saying we couldn't trust them, but no problem with Chineese made drugs...

The stuff they shipped to Canada was much cheaper than the US... the argument was that insurance costs forced the higher costs..

As usual, the bottom line is all that's important.

We used to go across the boarder in Mexico and get our drugs, cheap.

Wait a minute, that didn't sound right.

Opioids have been used for thousands of years , we donít have an opioid epidemic
we have a dumbass epidemic. If the Chinese are making fentanyl they are probably
adding some kind of addictive additive to it.

Yep! and and being promoted heavily, anyone with 2c of an IQ point are severely penalized with all the current legislation protecting the imbeciles from their own stupidity to the degree we all have to suffer.Remove all the warning labels and let natural selection take over.

Agree let the natural selection process work,   But let the ones who need it have it.  The thing is they now keep adding other things to it as well.   Had been on a med for years,  Then all of a sudden it is now classed as a narcotic and can only have so many at a time.   Then have to get a new prescript every few months.   Not allowed to do long term scripts any longer.     BS.   People out to make money and save the D.. A.. people from themselves.

Fentanyl is addictive all by itself, no need to add anything to it...........................

the basis of the problem is that corporate greed will ensure that there are no cures for disease, only profits by managing chronic conditions they create

we have a country that invents diseases to spread to the people of earth and then profit from the treatment using imitation drugs from china.
that sounds really sick and demented to me, but somehow it doesn't surprise me one bit. 😒
