No member here that is Dem, or opposed this supreme court justice should believe that other members here that are of opposing opinions should or would have any sort of grudge against the expression of their opinion here. As we all know, opinions are like A holes, all of us have them and each are entitled to our opinions. I for one am a Constitutional Conservative, meaning to the right of Republican. That said I value the opinions of every other member here and each member not only is entitled to their opinion, they are welcome to share that opinion here! And I value those members, regardless their political leanings too!
Maybe, but on the old forum there was guy that in private conversations labeled me and told me how he would not talk to me because I believed in more centrist views.  He had the same 8520 as I did, and got it around the same time. He literally believed that I was not worth conversing with because I lived in NJ and didn't own a gun and was therefore too much of a libtard to deal with.
So I do believe that in some peoples mind I am too left. I don't believe in the left, nor the right.. I just have my own views listening to the facts. To me its not black or white it's gray.
And I can be swayed with a good argument. But I have my own biases naturally we all do, based on our history.

Sad to hear that, even more sad that folks of such immaturity compound their immaturity by actually putting a voice to it and owning it thus proving their immaturity! I can say that if I was immature enough to hold the thoughts of another member whose thoughts are opposite mine against that member; I would at least be wise enough to know that such behavior was very immature and thus never admit such immaturity! LOL

Were I you, I would consider his announcement a favor, but that is just me. I prefer to know the ones worthy of ignoring and it is so much easier when they just drop their drawers and show their ass like that one did! LOL
You boys better hold on cause i'm gonna have to stand on it!

what i find a travesty is a Stanford psychology professor, conspired with the DNC to commit defamation and character assassination on a Federal judge who has been under FBI scrutiny 6 times, just to get the job he has- he is squeaky clean.
now we get the aforementioned Professor who sent a letter to her Senator, 37 years later, instead of contacting police.
she can still file a complaint with the police but she still hasn't , do you know why? she is lying.
if she went to the police, she would have to have things like evidence and corroboration instead of a poorly constructed series of lies and deceit tactics to fool the liberals.
they took the bait- hook, line and sinker without evidence or corroboration,
only the hate for the other political party.

i see past the smokescreen and i'll take the Constitution as my guide
Mike,
I understand your perspective.  The timing of the Dr. Ford's statement was late in the process.  That does not mean she is lying.  Yes, Kavanaugh was vetted several times, yet not about these allegations.  There are several other times during testimony that Kavanaugh may have perjured himself that also warranted additional investigation.  Yet, this nomination was pushed through with the closest vote of any Supreme Court nominee.  Not healthy for the Court, or the country in my opinion.

I, too, value the Constitution, yet many folks seem to use the conveniently.  Many of the Constitution quoters were notably silent when the Republican senators basically said "F You" to the Constitution and country when they refused their constitutional duty to "advise and consent" to the President's Supreme Court Justice nomination.  It can't be both the guiding document for our nation AND something that only gets referenced when convenient to an argument.

I believe Dr. Ford.  There are others that do not, although there seem to be way to many politicians that believe her though don't believe her--talk about politically expedient.  Don't quite understand that.

The last thing I have to add on this:  my brother was a law partner to Brett Kavanaugh (and Ken Starr for that matter).  Before the Ford/Kavanaugh hearings he was supportive of Kavanaugh--right background, experience, intellect.  After Kavanaugh's testimony, however, my brother totally flipped.  It is simply not acceptable to have a Supreme Court Justice make vitriolic partisan statements, not to mention the fact of several problematic statements that Kavanaugh made under oath that are not consistent with the evidence and warrant further investigation.

Mike,

Examples of when he perjured himself? Not when he "may" have perjured himself.

Examples?

Examples? Based on evidence, not simply allegations?

... Thanks for reading my venting.

You're welcome.  ;)

I’m getting tired of the demarcates, republicans, media, really all that crap. Those people are getting out of control. I’m going to go into my shop and close the door behind me! The toys in my shop don’t care about politics…the way I like it. Well, maybe the tariff will have an effect on the metal I buy :(…Dave

Let's see we have a Constitutional Conservative and an old school less government less laws taxes are theft libertarian as admins.

Can't get much more variety then that.
