inserting a link
« on: November 20, 2018, 09:43:03 AM »
I have seen this a few times now. I pasted a link into the pane and the text becomes real small.
If I use the hyperlink (2nd link) it corrects the situation.  Admittedly the first link was not using the insert link button. But this should not happen. Any idea why it is happening?

If you copy something from a website or the like, the format is often also copied. Including the text size. Some text blocks (where I'm typing right now) sometimes have the option to "paste as plain text", which doesn't paste the formatting.

Alternatively, you could paste the text them correct the formatting with the format options above the text block. (Font size )

That was the url from my browser location, so not text from the website.

I have many times corrected the format, but I can't for the life of me understand why it keeps doing this.

I still need help. The next line is a link.. This has never been fixed. It appears fine until I hit post. Then the link and all text after goes to minute size.

Damn Brother I see what you mean. I first thought that was a blurry underline.
You know the first thing they are going to tell you is to clean your cache.

You could always get creative and highlight it this

This is on multiple computers. I just loaded a new computer recently same.. so 4 different computers that I have tried do the same thing.
Something is very odd. Using Chrome. It's consistent.

This is in Firefox, after the word test is a space then the return. If I do not add the space before the return the two lines join together.

I had the same thing happen a few days ago, but caught it right away and edited the post to fix it. That was with MS-Edge.  Tried it with IE 10, same thing. Haven't tried Chrome yet, but since someone else has, I'll just take your word for it.
