I have a built in tapping head on the large Jet drill press, and have a Versatapper, a Tapmatic and a completely manual version, sold by Grizzly for any drill press or mill. I do a lot of power tapping.

A tapping head would be the easiest way, if I had a knee mill.

Actually. Has anyone ever seen a round column type mill, like mine, with a Bridgeport 2J style head on it...? I just spent the last hour and a half searching Google images to no avail of finding another mill like mine... Sorta feel like it might be a Frankenstein.

Almost looks like a massive bench top sitting on a pedestal.

Looking at the photo, almost looks like I could close in the sides and bottom of the stand and fill it full of sand or something heavy for likely a huge amount of dampening.

Hahaha. Charles, if I ever come into a pile of money, I'd GLADLY send you my mill, free. You can hold me to that.
