Start of Challenge 101
« on: September 01, 2019, 06:37:37 AM »
It begins now . You have 60 days to design and post what you intend to build for this challenge. You must post your name and what the project is in this post only. Just your name and project name, that's  all. Any discussion is to be done in the Challenge 101 thread. You have until Oct. 30th.  Remember this is the design phase, but you may  start building once the project is posted. Have fun fellas.

Don't sweat getting old, you'll still do dumb shit, just slower.

An Optimist will tell you the glass is half full, the pessimist half empty, the engineer will say the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Monday is Sept. 30, that's the half way point in the design stage. I will give this book away to Shawn if he is the only entrent in this contest as long as he shows me his completed project. You have 31 more days to enter, don't wait too long.

Remember, your name and the project name must appear in this thread. No others will count. Good luck to all.

Late start, but I'll jump in.
Jimmy Pigg - Corn stover pellet press
I'm designing and building the entire thing, but the drive is a salvaged right angle PTO drive I'm modifying. The die design is my own.
Might need a judges ruling on if this qualifies.

Sure hope you read the whole thread, it MUST incorporate a 3/4 brass plumbing "T" and that must be recognizable at project end. Very  ambicious project you have there my friend. I look forward to seeing the end result.

Ok, I'll play.

I need a larger brass hammer.
I may do a deadblow , or may rely on the weight we'll see.

Hoping to come up with another item. And still hoping my vision improves.

I would love to join in, but I can see already that I will not have enough time for such a project. Way too busy at work, and stuff is breaking around here faster than I can fix it. I've got a project in mind, but there is no way I can get it done in time.
