Finally got one
« on: November 16, 2019, 07:31:47 PM »
Been wanting one for awhile, finally snagged one.  This ine still has the 2 lower pans, the truing attachment, but the cups were missing.  Oh well, got a lathe so I guess I can figure out how to make one.

Great find! And thanks for the pic of the diamond dresser. I have the same diamond dresser. I now know what it goes to. Doesn’t make much difference though. I was going to make it work on my Baldor pedestal grinder.

You could make a cup out of a PVC end cap. Drill and thread a hole in bottom for a valve. And glue on a center support and away you go.

Thanks for the reply.  I ended up with 2 posts for 1 topic it seems..
Anyway, I'm glad you learned what that tool was too,  I want to make the cup - probably out of aluminum and I want to make some tooling to hold specific angles so my tool bits are more precise instead of me eyeballing all the time.   !AOK
