Not sure if that is asking price? The seller wants to trade. But still, yes, the shaper is coming back from the dead. For a long time the shaper was just scrap metal. And now from current actual selling prices on fleabay, looks like the shaper has a new life.

Should be gold plated for that amount.
Have another one listed for much less, but still high. I've seen them on Craiglist and eBay cheaper.

I kind of like it, but yet, that price is a bit overboard, to say the least. haha

Yeah, you should look at his other items for sale.  A bent up crescent wrench $250!

I think I could sacrifice a couple of crescent wrenches and sell them for that much and make a killing!

EDIT: He did sell a World Trade Center wrench for a undisclosed price.

A fool and his money will part ways.
For that kind of money you could but a much larger shaper. Shapers have come back into style because of all that bought one and showed them off and like all thing "everyone has to have one" regardless of price.
A fool and his money!

Yeah, but the stuff he has is not just bent up. The seller is claiming the “hutchison effect”? And just before I looked it up I had no idea what the hell the hutchison effect was? And now after reading about it, do I believe it??? I guess if it happens before my eyes, I will be a believer.

After reading that I am nowhere close to saying alright, The article  *"The Hutchison Effect – Explained" after all the bull$**t the last sentence is "The work is continuing at this time. Before long, we shall see what progress can be made." That is as bad as saying something and then but something else. It could be this or that, what a joke. And people believe this crap.
Enough for my rant.

The seller's name is Hutchison and these items just happen to have been bent by an effect named after him?  Sure sounds like a bunch of horse apples to me.
