Bummer.  Of course the thread you want isnít listed..
I have to admit the program in general involves a bit of clickeying on various boxes and places then watching what other boxes update.   Once you play with it a bit its    pretty easy to understand.
Hey at least the price was right!!

milled a couple of side plates for the maybe future steam engine.
I will split them approximately where the holes are in the side plates, bolt them back up and bore out the bearing.
The c/shaft is just sitting on top for looks.

Thats my home made vertical slide Pep.
It swivels as well.
Not owning a mill it has come in very handy since built.
I drilled a matrix of 8mm threaded holes for the vise jaws or other fixings on the back plate,
Unfortunately the full build is on that other site.

I needed some T-slot nuts for my DRO install.
Didn't have any the correct size and no local suppliers, so I made my own out of some scrap 6061.
I don't think they turned out too bad considering no DRO and my dials don't lock. Had to just use my digital caliper and test fit along the way.
Here's a couple pic's before drilling, tapping, and cutting to length.

The DRO would make dividing that up and punching holes a breeze .

Not So Easy Knurling:
I wanted to make a small pin wrench. Thought it would be nice to put a little knurling on the handle for appearance and function. Weeeeell after many linear feet later of scrap material LOL. I finally got a result I could be happy with. Knurling is not new to me. Have even made special knurls to do convex forms. Didnít give this job a second thought until I tried do it! I even had to consider knurling math that I always down play. And I had to dig out my Eagle knurling thing that I have not seen in years! The handle on the pin wrench is 12L14. The pin is music wire.

Nice to have the compressor outside too.   If you can stay off it awhile maybe seal it with something?  Last house i used something called Akona on the concrete.  Took several coats .   Its solvent based and pretty thin so it soaks in big time first coat.  Subsequent coats build up more sheen so depends how slick you want to get.   I havent seen it lately but It was years ago and the eco police may have banned it since for VOCs

PJB,

Tip, well taken but don't worry about stains and spots on a drive way. Leaves, dirt, and the likes are always happening.  Keeping machines & shop cleaned up, is more enjoyable and rewarding, floor has stains.. LOL

Agree compressor outside is a plus, had one in the basement years ago.
